Need A Parallell port for a old QXCI |

Well alas there are not that many pc's out there with parallel ports any more and those of you who have not upgraded to the scio are going to be having problems soon. So threre are 3 options I came up with - Get a Desktop PC they come with parallell ports still
- Get an acer 9810 there discontiued and big like a sager but have a real parallell port
- Get and IBM T60 or T61 can have a native serial and parallel ports in them. There is an adapter that goes in to the CD drive bay and gives a native hardware serial/parallel port. We have a lot of machine data collection gear that works great through those ports. The adapater $90 at CDW. It is part number 40Y8121

Warning before you upgrade or purchase an new computer or Upgrade. The Clasp32 program does not support installation on the new windows Vista. If you need help finding a new laptop Contact Us and we Can help you Choose a new laptop that will best serve you needs.
